PHYSIOLOGY: This product is a Mega-B-Complex formulation, which contains the proportions of B vitamins and vitamin C used by orthomolecular psychiatrists for blood sugar level control and behavior modification.
INDICATIONS: Glyco Flex is generally the B-vitamin supplement of choice in a variety of conditions, especially blood sugar irregularities. It is also an excellent maintenance B vitamin formula. Individual conditions will not be listed because they are most probably the symptoms of the inability of the body to handle carbohydrates. Such symptoms may be headache, fatigue, depression, irritability, and even diabetes and hypoglycemia. To obtain a true picture of your patient's ability to handle carbohydrates, a "Reactive Glucose Tolerance physiology" questionnaire may be administered and graded. If the 6-hour glucose tolerance test is indicated it can be administered.
