PHYSIOLOGY: As much as 98% of the fragile, living organisms in many acidophilus powders, liquids and capsules are destroyed by harsh stomach acids before they reach the lower intestinal tract. Because of its special enteric coating, Acidophilus E.C. passes through stomach acids intact to deliver maximum potency to the lower intestinal tract where it is needed to restore and/or maintain a balance of healthful organisms and inhibit the growth of pathogenic organisms.
INDICATIONS: High potency acidophilus supplementation is indicated to restore proper intestinal flora in digestive disturbances, parasitic infestation and yeast infections such as Candida Albicans.
